Claude YouTube Publisher
A private publishing tool for one creator's own YouTube channels.
What it does
Claude YouTube Publisher is the upload component of a personal video-production system that runs on the owner's own Windows PC. When the owner has finished and approved a video, the tool uploads that video, with its title, description, tags and thumbnail, to the owner's own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API.
- It is used only by its owner, for channels the owner controls. It is not offered to the public.
- Every upload must be approved by the owner in person with a passkey (Windows Hello or phone) before anything is sent to YouTube.
- It reads basic channel information only to confirm that each upload goes to the intended channel.
Google permissions it asks for
- Upload YouTube videos (
youtube.upload): to upload videos the owner has approved. - View your YouTube account (
youtube.readonly): to show which channel is being linked and to confirm uploads arrived correctly. - View YouTube Analytics reports (
yt-analytics.readonly): to show the owner how their own videos are performing.
The tool does not delete, edit or comment on anything, and does not access any other Google service.
Privacy
All data stays on the owner's PC. Nothing is sold or shared. Read the full privacy policy and the terms of service.
